Terms & Conditions

A plain-English summary of the terms that apply when you use this website and when you order machinery, parts or attachments from Eden Hut Ltd (trading as Ashmoors).

Website use

The content on this site — product specifications, images, copy and pricing — is provided in good faith for information. We reserve the right to update specifications and prices without notice. Please confirm current details on the quotation we issue you.

Orders and quotations

Written quotations are valid for 14 days from issue. Orders are accepted subject to stock availability and completion of any required finance approval. Machines supplied from UK stock are payable in full by bank transfer prior to dispatch; special-order machines require a 20% deposit on order confirmation, with the balance due prior to dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Warranty

New machinery is supplied with a 12-month parts warranty from the date of delivery, subject to the warranty schedule provided with each machine. The engine also carries the engine manufacturer's own warranty. Extended cover is available on request and quoted separately. Wear parts, misuse and routine servicing are excluded. See our service & warranty page for details.

Delivery

Delivery lead times are quoted in good faith based on current dispatch schedules. Risk passes on delivery; title passes on receipt of cleared funds. Full terms on our delivery page.

Inspection on delivery

Please inspect the machine with the driver before signing the delivery note. Any transit damage or shortage must be noted on the delivery note at the point of handover and reported to us in writing within 48 hours, with photographs. This allows us to pursue the transport insurance on your behalf.

Cancellations

An order for a machine held in UK stock may be cancelled in writing before transport is booked at no charge. Once transport has been booked, any non-recoverable haulage charge already incurred is payable. Deposits on special-order machines are non-refundable, as the build is committed with the manufacturer on receipt of the deposit.

Returns

Machinery is supplied for commercial use and is not sold on a trial or approval basis. Once a machine has been started, used or registered it cannot be returned, as it is no longer new. Any fault, defect or shortfall in performance is dealt with under the 12-month parts warranty and your statutory rights, not by return of the machine. Unused parts and attachments in their original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund, with return carriage at your cost; parts ordered specially to a serial number are non-returnable. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights in respect of goods that are faulty or not as described.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Full standard terms of sale are issued with every quotation.
