The R150 is a 15,000 kg crawler excavator with a 0.27–0.76 m³ bucket range, specified by Ashmoors for UK contractors, plant hire fleets and quarry operators. Isuzu or Cummins diesel (Euro V) power is paired with an electronically controlled hydraulic system that manufacturer testing shows reduces fuel use by up to 7% against the previous generation.
Full operator cab with climate control, pilot-lever controls and ground-level service access. Supplied, prepared, warrantied and supported in the UK by Ashmoors, with genuine parts and aftercare from our own team.
Ashmoors specifies, inspects and prepares this machine for the UK market, supplies it and remains responsible for its UK warranty, parts, servicing and technical support. It is manufactured by RIPPA under its original model code.

What does the R150 weigh, and can it be towed in the UK?+
The R150 is quoted at 15,000 kg. Add the tare weight of your plant trailer, typically 700-800 kg for a braked 3.5-tonne trailer, to get the towed weight, then check that total against your trailer plate, your towing vehicle's limits and your licence entitlement before travelling. Machines above roughly 8 tonnes are delivered by low-loader instead.

Can I finance the R150?+
Finance options may include hire purchase and finance lease through UK-regulated funders. Terms and monthly figures depend on the machine, deposit, term and applicant status.
Do I need a CPCS ticket to operate this machine?+
Operator ticketing requirements depend on the site, insurance and duty. For most domestic and light-commercial work the R150 does not legally require CPCS, but many hire firms and main contractors will still require an appropriate ticket. Speak to your site's health & safety lead.

Pre-delivery inspection
Every R150 is PDI checked in Britain.
Your R150 is not passed straight from the container to your yard. It goes through our 20-point pre-delivery inspection at our UK workshop, and the signed checklist, operator's manual and conformity documents are supplied with the machine. Service kits and filters are held in the UK, so routine servicing never leaves you waiting on a container.
