The RL20 is a compact articulated wheel loader sized for UK yards, farms and small-to-mid site contractors. The articulated frame turns tighter than a rigid machine of the same capacity, reduces tyre scrub on hard standing, and keeps the loader stable under full load on uneven ground.
Rated at 2,800 kg with a 1.28 m³ bucket and Yuchai (Euro III) power. Quick-attach hitch takes buckets, forks and grapples from the Ashmoors attachment range. UK-stocked wear parts and finance available on the full price.
Ashmoors specifies, inspects and prepares this machine for the UK market, supplies it and remains responsible for its UK warranty, parts, servicing and technical support. It is manufactured by RIPPA under its original model code.

What engine is fitted to the RL20?+
The Ashmoors RL20 Wheel Loader is fitted with a Yuchai (Euro III), as published in the manufacturer's specification. The full specification table on this page lists every confirmed figure for the machine.
What does the RL20 weigh, and can it be towed in the UK?+
The RL20 is quoted at 2,800 kg. Add the tare weight of your plant trailer, typically 700-800 kg for a braked 3.5-tonne trailer, to get the towed weight, then check that total against your trailer plate, your towing vehicle's limits and your licence entitlement before travelling. Machines above roughly 8 tonnes are delivered by low-loader instead.
What warranty does the RL20 come with?+
Every RL20 comes with a 12-month parts warranty, with warranty claims handled for you in the UK by Ashmoors. The engine also carries the engine manufacturer's own warranty, and extended cover can be quoted on request. Full terms are confirmed in writing with your order.
How quickly can the RL20 be delivered?+
Machines are held in stock in the UK. Mainland UK delivery is typically 3–5 working days from cleared payment, fully insured, and we confirm a delivery day with you in advance. Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland are arranged on request.
Are spare parts held in the UK?+
Contact Ashmoors with the RL20 serial number and required part. We will confirm compatibility, availability and delivery before you order.
Can I finance the RL20?+
Finance options may include hire purchase and finance lease through UK-regulated funders. Terms and monthly figures depend on the machine, deposit, term and applicant status.
Do I need a CPCS ticket to operate this machine?+
Operator ticketing requirements depend on the site, insurance and duty. For most domestic and light-commercial work the RL20 does not legally require CPCS, but many hire firms and main contractors will still require an appropriate ticket. Speak to your site's health & safety lead.
What attachments fit the RL20?+
General purpose bucket, 4-in-1 bucket, Pallet forks, Grapple bucket, High-tip bucket — plus most common auxiliary-hydraulic attachments sized for the class.

Pre-delivery inspection
Every RL20 is PDI checked in Britain.
Your RL20 is not passed straight from the container to your yard. It goes through our 20-point pre-delivery inspection at our UK workshop, and the signed checklist, operator's manual and conformity documents are supplied with the machine. Service kits and filters are held in the UK, so routine servicing never leaves you waiting on a container.
- Hydraulic pressures checked against the manufacturer's figures
- All hydraulic hoses, rams and fittings checked for weeps and chafing
- Engine oil level and condition checked
- Hydraulic oil level and cleanliness checked
- Coolant level and antifreeze strength checked
- Fuel system bled and filters checked
- Air filter and pre-cleaner inspected
- Battery charged, terminals cleaned and protected
- Track tension set and running gear bolts torqued
- Slew ring and pivot bolts torqued to specification
